AID & ASSISTANCE
The Cove strives to ease the lives of those experiencing times of extreme hardship. The Aid & Assistance program helps people in the Methow Valley who are in need of emergency, short-term financial assistance.
A family might have found a house to rent but not be able to meet the first and last month's rental requirements. Aid and Assistance could help with the last month's rent. A person might be about to have their power turned off because of an emergency. Aid and Assistance could help pay the utility bill. A car might break down interrupting one's ability to get to work. Aid and Assistance could assist with auto repairs or provide gas money.
The need is ascertained by an application interview with one of The Cove board members. Clients may receive up to $150.00/year in financial assistance.
