The Cove

Message from the director: The current coronavirus crisis means it is not “business as usual”.  We are committed to continuing with our mission; “To provide food and assistance to people in need in the Methow Valley while honoring and respecting one another during difficult times in our lives”. The Food Bank will remain open on Thursdays, following all the safety guidelines & distributing bags of food. We expect a significant increase of clients due to employment slowdowns. we are distributing food to shut-ins or those who are self-quarantined. the Friday Food program is working closely with the school district to distribute weekend food to children in the methow valley.

We look to the present, and the future, as we continue to work together to support this challenge to our community as we have so often done in the past 22 years.

"The Cove is about honoring and respecting one another at difficult times in our lives.  Thankfulness rather than entitlement is our philosophy and at The Cove, we are all family.  Come visit us on Thursdays from 12noon-4pm to share stories, have a healthy lunch, get the help you need or just lend a hand.  We welcome you with open arms, open hearts and open minds."
